The full stack —
and beyond
From a 20,000 GPU-hour NAIRR allocation to the wisdom that should govern it. Most people stop at the tech stack. I work the whole climb — silicon to spirit — and I have the receipts at every rung.

20,000 GPU-hours + SambaNova Cloud
Co-Principal Investigator of the awarded proposal “Integrating Video AI Analytics in Symani Robotics-Assisted Microsurgery” — one of only three NAIRR Pilot awards nationwide in the Clinical Medicine category, and the largest of the three. The first AI research worldwide on the Symani surgical robot, with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

The world’s first buy-price “button”
Co-designed the first mechanism to end a live ascending auction with a single instant-win “button”— the auction-theoretic foundation behind the “golden buzzer” win. Published in the Journal of Economic Theory — a top-tier economics journal — and accepted without a single revision. A patent-worthy result.
Read the paper →Silicon to spirit
The industry races to grow the tech stack. The stack is only the base. Above it sit the layers that decide whether AI nourishes or strip-mines — and I have proof at every one.
Nobody else spans from a 20k-GPU allocation to the laws that should govern it. That range is the point.

What I am building
Four properties of 1only LLC. Each solves a different problem; none is a rebrand of another.
Professor. Builder. Steward. Founder. Strategist.
Dr. Wenli Wang is a University (Distinguished) Professor of Computer & Information Systems at Robert Morris University, researching artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, systems science, management science, and game theory — with ~100 peer-reviewed publications, including in the Journal of Economic Theory, Decision Support Systems, and IEEE Computer.
She earned her PhD in Management Science & Information Systems from UT Austin, is NVIDIA-certified across the AI stack, and has held posts at Emory, UNLV, and Trident. Across 22 years of doctoral education she has advised graduates who now serve as university faculty and as executives and senior leaders across the U.S. federal government — including defense and intelligence.
And the work she cares about most sits above the stack — where the questions are no longer how to build AI, but how it should be governed, kept diverse, and made to serve people. That is the seat she means to hold.
